4/24/08: Slow start this year, but business is good. Intel Macs now out of warranty are needing assistance... Although I have not gone "Leopard" yet, I am training several people on the new system. Those little 2.5 inch hard drives in the iBooks, PowerBooks and even MacBooks are failing, so I do quite a few hard drive replacements in portable Macs, as well as in iMac G4s/G5s and eMacs. Still upgrading (RAM and HDs) G4/G5 towers to get another year or two out of them. Call me if you need backup advice... You will hate how much it costs to retrieve your data if your hard drive fails. Happy Birthday Bob Marley (4-20)!!

12/20/07: Finishing up a terrific year of Mac work. I am appreciating all that has transpired this year, and all my clients! What a fun year it was for me. Happy 2008 - may we all be blessed with new Macs (and iPods)! I am wanting a 17-inch MacBook Pro and an iPod Touch...

Mac OS X 10.4.10 Released on 6/20/2007

This is supposed to be the last Tiger update before the release of Leopard 10.5 this fall. Tiger has been around since the spring of 2005, so I am looking forward to Leopard.

Check out Macfixit.com for the latest news about the update, how to apply it yourself, and what is happening to people who update (the "crash test manequins").

I updated to 10.4.9 a couple of weeks ago, because I was having a lot of crashing issues with Mac programs (Safari, iTunes, iPhoto). The updates helped, but did not solve all the problems, but I was able to fix my PowerBook G4, and it runs great! If you are having similar problems, I can help you solve them.

The old design was great in 2000, and thanks to my brother Frank for making it for me! It is time for a major update. Large projects can be intimidating, so I am renovating the site, page by page. I will leave the old pages up for now, and move them to an archive in the next couple of months. I notice that people using OS 9 still access the pages, and there are quite a few old sites still referring to my pages. Bless you if you are still using OS 9. My fervent wish for you is that you manifest your new Mac soon!
